Production: High Definition Filming
The production stage is where the actual filming is done.
All the work and planning in the pre-production stages is brought together.
Filming in High Definition
We record in High Definition (HD) using professional film cameras, microphones and studio lighting to produce the best possible video footage. As with any creative process, the quality of the final movie depends on the quality of the video footage, sound recording, light and recording environment. We really pay attention to these details and continued to do so into the following post production video editing stages.
What Does HD actually Mean?
Well we all know that HD stands for High Definition and it is fast becoming the standard resolution for new TV equipment and broadcasting. But what does this mean to you? Well for starters if you are watching something on a normal SD (Standard Definition) television then you are only getting about 21% of the pixels that you would see on an HD 1080 television.
What's the difference between HD 720 and HD 1080?
The short answer is size! When HD first started to come out many TVs that were sold as HD were not full HD. Full HD is 1920 pixels wide by 1080 pixels high, which is 2,073,600 pixels! wheras HD 720 is only 1280 wide by 720 high (921,600 pixels), which means you're still missing over half the picture when compared to HD 1080. Spartmedia film at HD 1080 making sure you get the complete picture.
