Filming & Editing FAQs

Q:
Isn't it cheaper to do it myself?

Well you might save a little money doing it yourself and there are certainly a lot of videos out there on youTube and DVD that are made on prosumer kit and basic editing programs. You can spot them easily though because it comes down to quality and understanding that "you only get one chance to make a first impression". So if your movie says "I wanted to save a little bit of money by doing it myself" then you may not be getting the right message across to prospective clients. And while the price is less the cost is very damaging.

"Price is what you pay, cost is the long-term impact of your choice"

I've got an expensive camera...

Having the right equipment certainly is a step in the right direction. But for example owning an SLR doesn't mean that you are David Bailey. Making great movies comes from a combination of experience, artistic ability, skill and the equipment. Without all these parts then you won't get the best end product.

Better value and return on investment than you'd expect

Our clients have found that because our movies are a very high standard they get great returns on their investments and when they first contacted us for a quote we explained in a friendly and open way what their options are and what the best approach for them is. So they get the movie that meets their needs the best.
