We have really pay attention to the details and this is continued into the video editing stage.
What Does HD actually Mean?
Well we all know that HD stands for High Definition and it is fast becoming the standard resolution for new TV equipment and broadcasting. But what does this mean to you? Well for starters if you are watching something on a normal SD (Standard Definition) television then you are only getting about 21% of the pixels that you would see on an HD 1080 television.
What's the difference between HD 720 and HD 1080?
The short answer is size! You see when HD first started to come out many TVs that were sold as HD were not full HD. Full HD is 1920 pixels wide by 1080 pixels high, which is 2,073,600 pixels! wheras HD 720 is only 1280 wide by 720 high (921,600 pixels), which means you're still missing over half the picture when compared to HD 1080. Spartmedia film at HD 1080 making sure you get everything.
Resolution: Quality & Flexibility
If it is important to you to know you are getting value for money then you'll be interested in the additional benefits of filming video at very high quality:

- Even if you are producing an SD DVD at this time, because your footage is HD you can always use it in the future with HD formats like Blue Ray or YouTube HD.
- Having more pixels allows for additional effects like image stabilization, cropping and zooming - which all allow for a more creative editing and effects process.
